Departmental Profile:-
The Department of Medical Laboratory technician was established in December, 2020.The department is dedicated towards achieving excellence in teaching and laboratory. Also committed to community service. The department has all the necessary equipment for smooth conduct of the practical classes.
VISION :-
The department was established with an aim to create job opportunities for students. The department welcomes students from both arts and science streams as of now. This makes the department more inclusive. Our students are taught the values of empathy and compassion alongside this prescribed curriculum, so that they can become efficient health care professionals.
MISSION :-
• As mentioned above, the department of MLT is welcoming and inclusive. We have students coming from across the state to pursue this subject. Our mission is to provide them with the best training possible.
• Our collaboration with neighboring laboratories for internship has helped our students to gain required practical experiences.
GOALS:-
• Our goal is to train our students in the best way possible to be able to run tests and perform other lab works with minimal supervision and with efficiency.
• Our students are taught to be patients and extremely careful while running any lab test so that chances of error becomes almost nil.
